United Way of Coastal Bend NFP Team is Expecting!

Four out of the six nurse home visitors at the United Way of Coastal Bend NFP team are expecting! We wish them health and happiness throughout their pregnancies and as they welcome new babies to their families!

 

 

 

Flo Migration for Group D that includes Texas teams who have not yet migrated to Flo”!

Today is the day!  Flo Group D  will begin entering data into Flo’ on 12/16/19. Please ensure that those who are entering data into Flo’ view the Flo’ webinar and the Flo’ how-to training found in the Learning Hub. The Flo’ Guidance found on the Community under Tech Updates>Flo’ (https://community.nursefamilypartnership.org/Tech-Updates/Flo) also has great screenshots to walk you through each process.

In addition, please take advantage of the open office hours that Information Services is providing.  Open Office Hours: 12/17 9 am CT, 12/19 11 am CT and 12/20 1 pm CT. Access link is on the Flo’ migration page. Information Services is asking that you review these resources before reaching out to Tech Support.

Planning for the 2020 Texas Conference
The 2020 Texas Nurse-Family Partnership Conference will be held at the Sheraton Gunter Hotel in San Antonio on May 5th-6th, 2020.  We need one very detail-oriented nurse to serve as the lead Nurse Planner to review incoming applications for presentations for the conference.  In addition, we’re looking for volunteers to for the following committees:

  • Registration- Welcome Nurse Home Visitors, Supervisors, Administrators, and Speakers to the NFP Conference and distribute registration materials
  • Welcome Committee- Meet and greet speakers and ensure they have what they need in the breakout sessions and ensure all sign ins and evaluations are completed.
  • Dinner- Decorate and celebrate for the NFP Champions Dinner
  • Dinner Clean Up- Clean up after the NFP Champions Dinner

Nurse-Family Partnership at UTPB College of Nursing Hosts First Graduation

The University of Texas Permian Basin College of Nursing NFP team hosted its first client graduation in Odessa on September 27th, 2019.  The team had 13 graduates and nearly 60 people attended the event.

 

 

 

Lubbock NFP hosted their 9th Annual Celebration 10/19/19 at The Science Spectrum

Approximately 150 people attended the graduation, including clients that graduated from the program. Forty-one (41!) toddlers dressed in caps and gowns and walked the stage. All guests were provided a light lunch and cupcakes, and a photo booth was provided to capture the most adorable pictures. All Graduates were given free entry into the museum to explore after the event. The Nurse-Family Partnership National Service Office Alumni group provided gift bags for the graduates who wanted to become engaged with other alumni, provided books for the graduates, provided  a photographer.
