DENVER, COLO. (August 2, 2023) — The National Service Office for Nurse-Family Partnership® (NFP) and Child First announced the appointment of Jonathan Webb, CEO of the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) in Washington, D.C., to the Board of Directors.
With over 20 years of public health experience, Webb has worked to advance the fields of nursing and maternal and child health. As CEO of AWHONN, he represents the interest of over 350,000 nurses in women’s health, obstetric and neonatal nursing specialties. During his tenure, Webb developed a 3-year strategy map to provide accountability and transparency, alongside championing a diversity, equity and inclusion roadmap that holds the organization accountable for achieving results and ensuring a culture of belonging and inclusion. In his previous role as CEO of the Association of Maternal and Child Health Programs in Washington, D.C., Webb worked to improve the health of women, children, youth and families, including those with special health care needs. He led the growth of the organization and advocated for key state and federal legislation to provide for equitable care delivery.

Webb currently serves as a member of the March of Dimes National Advisory Committee, and a member of the American Board of Pediatrics Foundation’s Family Leadership Committee.
