The Salt Lake Valley Health Department has provided maternal child health and home-based services to low-income families for more than 40 years. Today, it administers the Nurse-Family Partnership program to low-income families in 16 cities and six townships in the Salt Lake Valley. The department established its team of NFP nurse home visitors in 2008.
