Nurse-Family Partnership Success Stories in Robeson County
- NFP Nurse Home Visitor Jessica worked closely with her client to encourage healthy practices. The young mother was able to maintain a healthy weight during and after pregnancy, and she successfully breastfed her healthy baby girl. With Jessica’s encouragement, the mother graduated from college and is currently teaching at a local elementary school.
- NFP Nurse Home Visitor Kelly promoted healthy maternal habits to her client and encouraged her to breastfeed, supplying information and resources to help the young mother succeed. The mother is active in the Army Reserves and now attends college. With the support of nurse Kelly, she is continuing her education, working part-time and raising a healthy baby girl.
