Securing support to serve greater needs.

Public funding and bipartisan support is essential to making Nurse-Family Partnership available to every eligible first-time family.

The Nurse-Family Partnership's Policy and Government Affairs team is working to obtain sustainable public funding for implementing agencies and national replication, as it raises awareness for the Nurse-Family Partnership program among members of the U.S. Congress and U.S. Executive Branch agencies. At the same time, Nurse-Family Partnership Implementing Agencies partner with the Nurse-Family Partnership National Service Office staff to build relationships with local, state, and federal legislators; to identify and create public funding opportunities to serve the needs of existing Nurse-Family Partnership Implementing Agencies; and to help local communities establish new Nurse-Family Partnership programs.
