Become a champion of Nurse-Family Partnership.
You can help bring this evidence-based, cost-effective model to more communities than ever before.
Nurse-Family Partnership enjoys bipartisan, bicameral support in the U.S. Congress. With leadership from Congressional champions, Nurse-Family Partnership pursues legislative opportunities for federal funding to supplement state, local and private investment in this proven model.
The Nurse-Family Partnership's Policy and Government Affairs team works to obtain sustainable public funding for implementing agencies and national replication, as it raises awareness for the Nurse-Family Partnership program among members of the U.S. Congress and Executive Branch agencies. At the same time, Nurse-Family Partnership Implementing Agencies partner with the Nurse-Family Partnership National Service Office staff to build relationships with local, state and federal legislators; identify and create public funding opportunities to serve the needs of existing Nurse-Family Partnership Implementing Agencies; and help local communities establish new Nurse-Family Partnership programs.
How You Can Help
Contacting members of the U.S. Congress is an effective way to change or shape public policy. Nurse-Family Partnership encourages our supporters and implementing agencies' staffs to contact their congressional delegation to express support for Nurse-Family Partnership's legislative priorities and how these objectives can help sustain and expand the Nurse-Family Partnership program.
